Why study in the USA?
Many people are asking us “why should I study in the USA?” To start answering this question lets try and clarify some things. Before we start being specific about whether to study in USA, first you must decide whether you want to study abroad. Firstly, whilst you are studying and after graduation you will be able to announce everyone that you’re studying in the USA or you have graduated and studied in the USA. Just being able to make this statement is a good reason to seriously consider studing in the USA
Fluently speaking American English will offer you unbelievable opportunities during your business life. And the USA is most certainly the right place to learn and speak English as native.
When you have graduated in the USA, the chance of you finding a job or making your own business will obviously be easier. Imagine being able to state in your CV that you studied in the USA. If you were a boss you would probably take your self on, wouldn’t you?
Once you’ve decied on a program In the USA you can easily change if you want to.
You will meet many people from all around the world, so you can actually make your business contacts and good friends as well. Making lots of friends from many different countries means you’ll continue speaking English, that is, of course, if you are not prepared to learn everybody’s language! You will also learn how to adapt to other cultures. This will help you later when you start doing business internationally. When you’re abroad you won’t feel strange as you have been abroad before.
One of the most important things you will learn in the USA is team working! You will have to use this throughout your study, business life and beyond!
Types Of Institutions

Universities, Colleges and Institutes
Colleges tend to be smaller and usually offer only undergraduate degrees.
University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees.
The words "school," "college," and "university" will be used interchangeably throughout this article.
Institute is usually speciallizes on a specific degree program in a group of closely related subject area like institute of art and etc.
Within each college or university you will find schools, such as the school of arts and sciences or the school of business. Each school is responsible for the degree programs offered by the college or university in that area of study.
State Universities
These kind of universities are founded by U.S. state governments for example Texas or Michigan to provide low-cost education to American citizens. They also called public universities to make a difference between State Universities and private Universities, colleges and institutes. State universities are normally very large with 20.000 or more students and mostly enrol a wider range of students than private universities. International students, as well as those from other states, are considered out-of-state residents and therefore do not benefit from reduced tuition at state institutions. In addition, international students may have to fulfill higher admission requirements than in-state residents.
Private Universities
These kind of schools are paid for by a sponsorships, tuition fees, research grants, and gifts from their alumni. As usually fees are higher at private schools than at state universities, but students from outside of the state don’t pay anymore than those from the state. Colleges with a religious affiliation and single-sex colleges are private. In general, private universities have enrollments of fewer than 20,000 students, and private colleges may have 2,000 or fewer students on their campuses.
Community Colleges
Community colleges offer associate degree programs(courses) such as the associate of arts or associate of sience degrees with excellent technical and vocational programs.Community colleges are community-based institutions with close links to secondary schools, community groups, and employers, and many U.S. students live close to campus with their families. Community colleges can be public or private institutions and are sometimes called junior colleges or two-year colleges. A growing number of international students are choosing to study at community colleges. Tuition costs are often lower at two-year than at four-year institutions, and many have agreements to allow students on transfer programs to move easily into the third year of a bachelor’s degree at the local state university.
Technical and Vocational Colleges
These institutions specialize in preparing students for entry into, or promotion within, the world of work. They offer certificate and other short-term programs that train students in the theory behind a specific vocation or technology, as well as in how to work with the technology. Programs usually last two years or less. There are several thousand technical and vocational colleges across the United States, and they may be private or public institutions. What are the common means of transport, while abroad?
The program can be chosen an orientation session or package, which will comment on the various means of transport available at that particular place. In Europe, train or subway are options. What are the documents required for travel abroad?
Note: This is just a sample list of documents that may be required for international travel. The actual documents your student will vary depending on the location of the program. Be sure to contact your host for the first official departure. In all cases, complete applications and make all the necessary appointments for each document well in advance as you can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to complete the process.
PASSPORT – The most widely used form of identification used for international travel is a passport. Almost all foreign countries require that visitors have a passport. VISA – Visa International is a permit of a country that allows visitors to enter and exit their borders and can be requested for the program chosen from any countries or that the student plans to visit when traveling independently. Visas often list the dates planned journey and do expire, in order to ensure they have access to these dates in the application. Note: The visa must be obtained prior to departure, so check with the institution hosting as soon as possible to see if it is necessary.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT IDENTITY CARD (CITI) - Although it is not normally required, the ISIC can be a valuable document for which applied. In addition to locate your child as a student, which can help him or her eligible for discounts on air fares, travel insurance, medical care and health, and entrance fees to museums and other cultural sites throughout the world. This card can be purchased through various Web sites, travel agencies or by many American colleges and universities. CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATIONS INTERNATIONAL - The student may be required to obtain a number of different vaccinations before entering a foreign country. The list of inoculations and structures able to provide these vaccinations must be obtained from the study abroad, the hosting service for universities. During the journey of developing countries, the following vaccinations are generally required: typhoid fever, hepatitis A and B, cholera and yellow fever. Antimalaria drug may also be recommended. It is also suggested that a list of childhood vaccinations be obtained from your family doctor (these may include: tetanus, polio, diphtheria, etc.) and to update these vaccinations if necessary.
Students will be able to communicate without having a firm grasp of the language?
It is possible that the student, goes everywhere, he / she will be able to find someone who speaks a little English, but it is always useful to the student to make every effort to learn the local language, or at least some key phrases, As enable him / her to do most of the experience of study abroad. How do we keep in touch with students while they are abroad?
Mail, phone, fax and e-mail are all available means by which to communicate with students abroad. While rates may be higher to connect overseas services very similar to those here in the United States.
