Marks and Spencer have said that there will be 15,000 temporary Christmas job vacancies available for jobseekers. The retail giant are planning to employ over 15,000 seasonal people who will be working at M&S stores across the country during busy Christmas period.
All jobs will be in stores, distribution centres, warehouses and in-store cafes.
The company will provide 2 days training to seasonal workers them to be ready for their new positions.
Don’t forget that many Xmas staff will be offered permanent employments so if you are planning to work in retail for long term then this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Marks and Spencer has over 1,000 stores across the UK and many of them are regularly advertising job vacancies. If you want a job at M&S stores then why not visit their career site online and start searching for the positions that are suitable for you.
Xmas recruitments will be done through the job site of the company. You will take an online assessment during your application. This will take about 15 minutes to complete. You may also be asked to upload your CV so make sure it’s ready on your computer. Your CV must be up to date and highlighting your retail skills. A covering letter that shows your interest in working at Marks and Spencer would be helpful with your application.
If you were succesful at your application then you will be invited to take an interview. It will be either a one to one or a group interview. If you take a look at general interview questions and answers then you should be ok.
