Marks and Spencer are to create 150 job vacancies in Sevenoaks, Kent with a new department store. The old social club is being transformed into a new modern look M&S store.
The agreement is based on a “pre-let” project and is due to be signed by the company on Thursday.
The company also has a food store in the town however the current store employees will be amalgamated into the brand new department store once it’s completed.
The land that will be a M&S is owned by the Sevenoaks District council and Reef Estates.
A planning application is coming in May and there will be an agreement signed by all the parties for a 25 year lease. The new store will be on 42,000 square metres.
Marks and Spencer Sevenoaks store will create 150 jobs once it is completed.
