Caffe Nero is one of the largest coffee chains across the UK, us Brits can’t get enough of the yummy Italian coffee.

Caffe Nero expects all their employees to be passionate about their work, have great customer service skills and be an all-round positive person.

How to apply

To apply to work at Caffe Nero is a quick process online via their website, where you will fill out a simple application form. This process shouldn’t take any longer than 10 minutes. If you already know the store you wish to work at, you can also drop in an updated copy of your CV along with a covering letter to explain why you are interested in the role. Make sure this is given directly to the person in charge then you know it arrived safely.

Interview

The interview process at Caffe Nero is just a normal 1:1 interview. They will ask a little more about you regarding your application and/or CV, so make sure you know exactly what you have written on both of these. They will want to know about your previous experience, they will ask you give examples of you practicing team work, customer service skills and following requests.

What to wear

It is advised to turn up to your interview in a smart outfit; black trousers/skirt, white or black shirt and black shoes. First impressions have a huge impact on your interviewer so you want to ensure you get it right.

Benefits

Rewards and benefits as an employee at Caffé Nero are; health care, you may also be entitled to a staff discount, but this all depends on the store you work at.

Salary

For a general barista, your salary will be national minimum wage, which is currently £6.08ph, for an assistant manager, you’re looking at £6.65ph, and for a store manager you’re looking at a salary of between £19,000 and £24,000pa.
