If you work as a care worker looking for a new role or want to be a care worker then you need to be able to demonstrate within your personality profile that you are able to provide care for different people in differing situations and that you are physically and mentally able to deal with the challenges you could be faced with.

CV Personal Profile Example for Care Worker

An employer will be looking to see if you have done any NVQ qualifications in Care and to what level or whether that is something you want to do in the future and are looking for a starting post.

If you are looking to write your personal profile please see below for an example that you can use as a guide:

Care Worker CV Personal Profile Example

I am a hardworking care assistant who has been working in homes for the elderly since (what year). I have done my NVQ level 2 and I am in the process of working towards level 3.  I enjoy working in this environment as I like to make a difference to people’s lives when they are in a difficult position and sometimes very ill and unable to function like they used to.

I am physically fit and mentally prepared each day to deal with different challenges. I like to think of new activities to do with the patients and find this important to keep their motivation high which is very important at that time of their life. I have also been involved in rehabilitation and helping people to get back on their feet following a period of illness or injury and I find this very rewarding when they become active again and have a period of rest bite with our care home.

I am now seeking to continue my career but through learning new skills and maybe dealing with different types of patients and feel that I would be better working in a smaller more specialised home.
