10- Financial Manager

Bank managers, insurance managers…

Average pay for Financial managers are £75,000 before tax.

You don’t need to have a degree to become a financial manager. You need years of experience in banking or in financial industries.

9- IT Director

Average IT directors pay before tax is £78,000. Depends on the experience and company size this may increase to £100k a year.

You may become an IT director with a good experience however companies usually require a degree in programming, computing etc.

8- Medical practitioners

Consultants, GPs, surgeons, radiologists…

Average pay Medical practitioners in the UK is £79,000 a year.

In order to as a Medical practitioner you will need to a have a degree recognised by General Medical Council.

7- Air traffic controllers

This includes Air traffic service assistants and flight planners.

Average for Air traffic controllers are £82,000 and this is before tax.

You don’t need to have a degree to become a Air traffic controller.

You need to pass several tests done by NATS. Those tests are usually hard to pass but once you done it you will be earning £82,000 average before tax.

6- Lawyers

Average pay for Lawyers are £80,000 and this includes Attorneys and legal consultants.

You will need a degree in Law in order to work as a Lawyer. You will also need to complete a LPC course and win a two year training contract.

5- Bankers

Average pay for Investment bankers and Bank managers are before tax is £84,000 a year.

You will need a degree in order to work in this area.

4- Pilots

This job title includes pilots, flight engineers, helicopter pilots.

Average pay before tax for Pilots are £86,000.

You don’t need to have a degree in order to become a Pilot however becoming a pilot is expensive and it takes time.

3- Marketing directors

Average pay for Marketing directors are £88,000 a year before tax.

You don’t usually need to have a degree to become a Marketing director however a degree would help build a career career in sales industry.

2- Chief executives

Average pay for Chief executives before tax are £124,000 a year.

You don’t need to have a degree but years of experience is a must.

1- Brokers

This title includes Stockbrokers, traders on the stock exchange, forex dealers, insurance brokers.

Average pay for this industry is £134,000 before tax.

You don’t really need to have a degree to work as a Broker however employers may ask relevant degree.
