A county-wide jobs fair will take place in September bringing jobs, advice, and information to Redditch residents.
The Worcestershire Jobs Fair on Wednesday, September 12, will see representatives from over 30 employers bring more than 500 jobs, including full and part time work as well as weekend and seasonal Christmas jobs.
The public will be able to find information on a wide range of positions from retail to design with jobs offered in a variety of sectors including social care, adminsitration, personal training and construction work categories.
The fair will run from 10am to 6pm in the Guildhall in Worcester City Centre with many local businesses signed up to attend including Worcestershire County Counci who are organising the event in partnership with Job Centre Plus.
Sue Crow, Worcestershire County Council economic development manager, said:
“”The response we’ve had so far from businesses has been fantastic. There’s already more than 500 roles on offer on the day and because of the range of different job types there should be something of interest to every person in Redditch looking for employment or a change of career path.”
“”I’d like to encourage everyone interested to make a note in their diaries and come along on the day. There’s every chance it could be the best decision they make this year.”
You should take copies of your CVs and proof of identity incase you would apply for the job vacancies that are available.
