Under no circumstances lie on your CV. The same goes for an application form. Do not lie about convictions, career gaps, wages, qualifications or job titles. Underexaggerating is as bad as overexaggeration. Don’t make yourself look stupid. Be honest, and straight up, even if you aren’t the model employee. Make the good bits sound amazing by dressing them up, not making them up!
If you get caught lying on your CV, you risk instant dismissal should it arise at any point during your employment or application/interview process.
