I always wonder whether it is best to make the letter stand out in some way or to blend in. It can be difficult because it is likely the letter may stand out for the wrong reason. Trying to use different coloured paper or a witty comment will probably work against you rather than for you. Does anyone have examples of when they tried to stand out and it worked?
