It’s fine to use a template, but you should always make sure that you fill it in properly with your own information. It’s a good idea to change little bits and pieces to make it your own, but you’d probably find that you’d want to do that anyway once you got your hands on it. It’s the information in it that’s important. A lot of people use templates; there’s nothing wrong with that.
