I would start off with contacting dome temping agencies. They tend not to mind about previous work experience and should be able to get you some work. The reason that they do not mind about previous work experience is because you will be on a days notice and so if the job does not suit you or you do not suit the job then you will not be asked to return the next day. This is unlikely though, as they do try to pair people up with jobs as well as they can. They will have jobs that are just a few days cover, a few months or more on going work and you could pick and choose which might suit you. These jobs are unlikely to be graduate positions, but they will be a way to get you back in to working and increase your confidence and give you something to put on your CV.
