I would use every possible means to get a job. Therefore I would contact relevant agencies to the industry that I was looking to get in to. I would also search online for the type of job that I wanted. There may be trade journal or newspapers that jobs are advertised in for the industry you want to work in, so look at those as well. Lastly I would also check at the local job centre and see what they had available.
It is worth remembering that different jobs are advertised in different places and so if you do not look in a lot of wayts for jobs, then you may never find one.
