I feel that all interviews demand a smart dress code. I would wear a suit, a trouser suit with shirt and tie if you are male. For females I would go with trouser/skirt or dress and jacket – whichever is most comfortable. Just because you will be working in fashion, does not mean the interview is an excuse to show off your sense of style. You may find that if you are too outrageous it will not go in your favour. Be conservative and smart.
