This sort of statement can lead to complete despair and it is obvious that if anyone had this experience then they would not be happy. However, there could be some very obvious reasons for this.
It could be that you are just not good at job interviews. This sounds terrible, but many jobs can be applied for through local job agencies, where after chatting to staff there, they will put you forward for a job without interview. This can help in this situation.
You may also benefit from practising answering questions that you feel you stumble on, trying stress reduction techniques or just making sure you get the basics right such as dressing appropriately, arriving on time and speaking clearly.
