    99p Stores Application Form

    99p Stores is a recently new brand, which launched in 2009. They plan to open more stores across the UK by the end of the year, which will open up quite a lot of job vacancies. They currently have 5,000 employees, and are hoping to increase that to 10,000 within the next 10 years after the openings of all their new stores.
    99p Stores are seeking staff, which not necessarily has any previous experience within retail, as they are willing to train you on the job. You do need to have a passion for providing good customer service, and be willing to help the company grow.

    How to Apply

    To apply at the 99p Stores, you can take a CV and a covering letter to your local store. Your covering letter will need all your personal information, address (set out like a formal letter) and a small paragraph explaining why you are interested in the role.

    Interview

    The interview process for the 99p Stores is a simple 1:1 interview. You will be asked questions like;

    Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?,
    Why are you interested in the vacancy at 99p Stores?,
    Do you have any previous experience within a similar role?.

    This type of interview is really a chance for the interviewer to get a better idea of your personality and what you would be like if you were to be employed by them. Try to stay calm, be positive and try to answer all questions to the best of your ability.

    Salary

    The salary for working at the 99p store depends on the role and the area you’re working in. On average, a store manager’s salary is between £16,000 and 20,000pa, for an assistant manager, you’re looking at a salary of between £14,000 and £16,000pa and for a sales assistant; you will be on national minimum wage which is currently £6.08ph.
