Argos have announced they will open their second store in Blackpool on 27th October 2012 at the Squires Gate Lane Retail Park.
The store will be located at the former PC World and provide 45 new permanent job vacancies once the work is complete and the store opens. Furthermore the new Argos branch expects to require an additional 30 Christmas jobs following its opening.
The current Argos store in Albert Road, Blackpool will continue to trade and will not be affected by the expansion, but the new Squires Gate Lane store will stock an additional 2,000 products along with offering the 12,000 products in the Argos full range.
