Asda Airdrie Supermarket to create 300 job vacancies

    Asda have just revealed plans to construct a new supermarket on Carlisle Road, New Broomfield, Airdrie, Lanarkshire near the Broom Stewart Distillery.

    The dates and details of the public consultation prior to a formal planning application should be announced shortly.

    Assuming the planning application for the new Airdrie Asda supermarket is approved, the new site is proposed to create around 300 job vacancies when it is fully operational.

    The store probably will open in 2012.
