    Asda is about to win the war to build a store and petrol station at Bartley Green, Birmingham.

    Asda looks to have won its 4-year long battle to build a supermarket and petrol station at Bartley Green, Birmingham.

    Birmingham City Council seem set to benefit from a top-dollar sale of just under 1 hectare of its 182 hectare Woodgate Valley Country Park. The reason for the delay has been down to 3 local councillors who have been demanding a full consultation with residents and insisting on Asda paying a high price for the land.

    With local opinion in its favour, Asda will now almost certainly be sold the land and construction can begin on the ‘medium-sized’ supermarket which will create 200 job vacancies.

    I  witing t u in regards to appling for a job at the new asda store that is being built on barns hill weoley castle.
    I would be willing to do any job at any hours as i only live in bartley green which is only up the road from weoley castle.
    I would be very greatful if u would consider me for a job.

    I am currently working in Supermarket counter assistant, I would like to apply for a job, I would be willing to do any job at any hours as I live in bartley green which is very near to weoley castle.

    I am curently out of work I’m a painter and decorator but I am looking for a fresh start and have allways wanted to work with a big company I don’t live to fare from weoley castle can you please consider me for a job thankyou

    If you want a job at this new Asda then you need to go to their website and apply for any of the vacancies advertised there. As this new branch is unlikely to open for a while, they may not yet be advertising vacancies for it.
