Asda said that they had 1,700 job application for their 300 job vacancies for their store in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The new store will open on monday, 14th Nov.
Asda say that they are looking for job applicants who have a positive attitude towards training, enthusiasm and excellent customer service. The ‘magic sessions’ are intended to allow candidates to demonstrate this.
Besides the supermarket, the new Asda will have a restaurant, bakery, fish counter, and a George clothing outlet.
