Deloitte, the global audit, corporate finance and tax consultancy company, is set to create 125 new job vacancies in its Belfast office over the next 2 years.
The majority of the jobs, around 100, will be for programmers and IT specialists and concentrate on developing new software and bringing it online along with the provision of subsequent support services. The other jobs will target the planning of improved market practices regarding taxation and business administration.
When all the new jobs have been filled, about £4m a year should be flowing into Belfast’s economy as a result of this expansion.
Applications for these jobs are welcomed from both graduates and experienced financial consultants.
By 2013, Deloitte expects to have around 275 people working for it in Northern Ireland.
