If you are going to take a Boots interview then read following tips from Boots HR Manager – Melanie:

    • Think about why you want to work here – what excites you about working for a leading retailer and about the role you’re applying for.
    • When you give us examples of what you’ve done in the past, make them relevant to the job you’re applying for – tell us if you’ve worked in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of people and delivered results you’re proud of.
    • Be ready to tell us what your strengths are – and your opportunities for improvement.

And Boots uses following methods to find the right candidate for the job!

    • Telephone interview – a great way for you to get more information on Boots and the job you’ve applied for, and for us to find out whether your skills and experience match the job.
    • Competency interview – we’ll talk about work situations, what you did to deliver a great result and how you went about it.
    • Technical interview – for more technical roles, we may asked you to share details of your technical skills and experience.
    • Psychometric tests (for some roles) to assess verbal and numerical reasoning or personality characteristics.
    • Assessment Centre: you’ll complete a number of activities, including competency interviews and perhaps a group exercise or case study.
