    As a Buyer/Buying Manager, your role will be to create profitable customer driven ranges and promotions to deliver sales and margin targets. You will ensure the buying plan supports a group of products to support the delivery of the customer plan and promises of ‘I can get what I want’ and ‘the prices are good’.

    Your role and responsibilities are to:

    Ensure the buying plan supports delivery of the customer plan

    Set sales and margin targets and then beat them

    Develop the supplier base to achieve competitive advantage based on a direct sourcing model

    Develop with IS, a reactive sustainable supply chain to continually drive new products for customers

    Develop fashionable ranges for our online customer

    Understand the online competitor set to drive a strategy to capture market share

    Negotiate product cost to continually drive down costs for our customers

    Plan and negotiate market leading promotions to drive sales and margin

    Use the exit process to optimise sell through and minimise exit costs aligned to stores

    Always try to make things simpler for stores and our online teams

    Deliver against the critical path

    Increase market share year on year
