Does anyone have any experience of Christmas jobs? Have they found that from a Christmas job they have been able to continue being employed by that company?
Many companies do take on workers at Christmas and then do not keep them on beyond this time. This is because they do not need the extra staff once the Christmas rush is over. However, it can still be good to ask whether there are any opportunities after Christmas as you may find that the experience you have gained will help you. You may also have made a good impression and they may feel they want to hold on to you.
