Christmas Job Opportunities in Nottingham

Hospitality firm Michael Wisher Associates is creating an extra 500 temporary hospitality jobs to service their Christmas marquee parties in Nottingham.

Michael Wisher Associates has over 25,000 hours of hospitality work with Vivid Experience, the company behind corporate Christmas parties at Highfields in Nottingham’s University Boulevard and The Roundhouse in Derby.
Since 2009 Vivid Experience has transformed Nottingham’s most popular Christmas Party destination to a specially designed marquee. The state-of-the-art structure is erected and built especially for the Christmas party season and covers more than 4,000sqm. Each year the venue is upgraded and re-designed to give dramatically new experiences year after year. The company work with top production and lighting companies, set designers and choreographers to produce a range of Christmas Parties now recognised as the very best in the region.

The temporary jobs include waiting on tables, cocktail bar service, kitchen duties and public area cleaning. All those selected to work on the Christmas events will be given a thorough training programme. Although the jobs are temporary the company believes the training they give will help people find further work in the future.
This year the 13 Nottingham marquee events start on Saturday, December 1, and run through to December 22 under the “Zulu Sundance – The Magic of Africa” theme. Find out more about the jobs at michaelwisher.co.uk.
