The new Cote Brasserie is set to open in Wokingham town next month (Monday 16th June) and will be creating 40 new jobs with its opening.  The site on which Cote Brasserie will be opening used to belong to the Lloyds TSB group in Broad Street and as part of its tempting menu; it will be offering steak frites, tuna nicoise and crème brulee.

The people of Wokingham have been complaining that the town already has enough Italian restaurants and they are now looking forward to a classic French cuisines such as the Cote Brasserie opening its doors.

The people of Wokingham like to see some change and differences to provide a balance of choice and are hoping that one day a Japanese chain, Wagamama will come to Wokingham and they launched a “Wokingham Needs a Wagamama” Facebook page to run this campaign which was launched on 18th May and had 150 likes within the first 48 hours which is an impressive result and one that Wagamama should look at seriously as the facebook page now has 429 likes.

Cote Brasserie prides itself on providing seasonal food and having a commitment to sourcing the highest quality ingredients to ensure their customers get what they want from their food. They will regularly update and change their menus in line with seasonal foods which also ensure that their customers get to try new things each time and do not get bored with the same menu.

The Wokingham people campaign has been successful before when they campaigned for a Nandos to join the town and after 1,400 fans joined the facebook campaign they got their result so they are hoping this latest campaign will go the same way.

In other parts of the town not such positive news following a fire on Finchampstead Road where WGK ran their restaurant and announced that they will not be reopening as it could take at least 3 months to sort everything out following the fire.
