    CV Tips for Temporary Jobs

    First of all we need to state that Temporary jobs CVs are as important as permanent ones. If you are one of those who believes in the myth that this is not true, start thinking about changing your mind. When you are searching for temporary jobs, you will have to have a few basic things such as you have to be a quick learner and as flexible as possible.

    Don’t forget that this is a temporary job and more than 60% of temporary workers are taken on permanently in full time positiongs at the end of their temporary period, of course if they worked hard and showed themself to be useful.

    Here are the list of useful CV tips for temporary jobs;

    1- Read the job advert several times and understand the employer needs and try to get your CV to meet emphasise where you meet his/her requirements.
    2- Do not try to list all of your temporary job experiences, mix them with permanents.
    3- Refrain from listing your recruitment agencies, do list the employers.
    4- Highlight your potential and strengths, especially where they meet the specific job requirements
    5- What are your accomplishments? do not forget that Your accomplishments in your past temping stand as proofs for your personal involvement in the job.
    6- Do not lie
    7- Try to persuade the employer that you are a quick learner
    8- Don’t hurry or panic, give yourself time to think about it.  Temporary job is not something that you should underestimate, it may turn in to a permanent job.
    9- Do never use somebody elses CV or do not use very popular CV templates.

    Totally agree with everything said here. Play on your adaptability and flexibility for the potential employer and your commitment and dedication.

    Many temporary jobs can become permanent, particularly in big companies where the promote internally.
