You must hand your CV to employers if you can’t find a job online. If jobs are not coming to you then you should walk to jobs!
Did you know that thousands of jobs are never advertised? There are many reasons for employers not to advertise their vacancies such as they don’t want to spend money on it or they are not looking for a staff urgently etc.
The question is Do you feel intimidated when handing in CV?

I feel very intimidated when handing in a CV, particularly to small businesses because, having worked in a small business myself, I know what they do with the CVs. Sometimes they are read by all the staff, where other times they are simply discarded. This is not good practice but sadly it happens.
