How on earth do you get a job when you have little or no experience?! Does anyone have any advice on what to do if you have? It is funny really as in order to gain any experience you need a job right? This is a common problem I find! Please help!!!

Christmas Positions are always a good way to get retail jobs which will give you more experience and make you more employable.

Hospitality is also a good place to gain experience, Most restaurants and some bars (Wetherspoons) will employ people without a lot of experience as they often prefer someone who has not picked up bad habits.

supermarkets are also a good place to gain work experience, you could also ask at your local careers center. They will often set you up with a weeks work experience which is ideal if you want to gain experience in an office environment.

Do you think smaller businesses are more likely to take you on with less experience?

Its always a catch 22 you cant get the job with no experience but you cant get experience without the job.  you just have to try and get an employer to give you a break and give you a chance to prove yourself
