Dominos pizza are excited to be opening a new branch to their chain in Colwyn Bay on the Station Road in the town centre this summer.  The new branch will be creating 35 new jobs for local people and work has already begun on getting the new store opened.

Dominos are looking to be able to get freshly made pizzas delivered straight to the residents of Llandudno, Colwyn bay and Conwy to begin with and extending the area as time goes on. People will also be able to collect from Dominos.

Dominos pizza are very conscious about their neighbours and take their role very seriously and ensure that all their franchisees work very hard to play an active part in the community and they enjoy getting involved in local charities, groups and events.

The local people of Colwyn Bay think that with Dominos coming to Colwyn Bay means that it is a sign of the times changing and a period of regeneration and a growing confidence for Colwyn Bay.  The Colwyn Bay town centre and the waterfront are at the moment the focus of a £52 million By Life + regeneration project which began in 2008.  This regeneration project includes making a permanent beach area made up of half a million tonnes of sand and also redeveloping the town’s theatre and the Welsh Rugby Unions under 20s team moving into their new home ground at Parc Eirias.

Over the last year both Costa Coffee and Subway have moved into the town centre and now Dominos are moving there too making the business growing for the local people bringing another high street recognised brand into Colwyn Bay.  This ongoing regeneration project has given the area of Colwyn Bay a massive boost which has resulted in attracting people to the area to live, work and also for tourism which is excellent news for the area.
