    Halfords Application Form

    Halfords is the leading retailer of car parts, car enchantment, camping gear, bikes, and biking equipment. Halfords seek individuals who seek a thrill and are ambitious as they’re company is constantly changing. What happens this month at Halfords can be totally different to what happens next month.

    How to apply

    On the Halfords website, you can search for any open vacancies within your area and apply for them by filling out a simple application form and sending them a copy of your CV and a covering letter, if you wish. Though it’s not compulsory to send a covering letter along with your application; it’s advised as it gives your potential employer more information about you.

    Interview

    The interview process is a 1:1 affair, and you will be asked questions regarding your application and/or CV, so make sure you know exactly what you have written on both of those. A smart appearance is advised; black trousers/skirt, black or white shirt and black shoes, also don’t wear a lot of make-up. You will need to have some knowledge about some of the items they sell in-store and have an idea about the company background.

    Graduates

    Halfords also run a graduate scheme for those who are interested, the intake is annually and the salary is £23,000pa. To be considering for this role, you need to be commercially minded, ambitious and want to move your career and the business forward. In order to be successful you will need strong numerical and analytical skills, a high degree of drive and tenacity, creativity, a flair for negotiation and great communication and influencing skills.

    Being an employee at Halfords you are open to a number of different rewards, although this depends on the role you play within the company. Everyone is entitled to a 15% staff discount on all products.

    The salary at Halfords is competitive in each role, and is reviewed regularly to ensure they reward performance.

    It just says to go to my local store and pick an application form, will get OH to do it.
