A jobs and career fair designed to assist young people find employment took place last week in Wood Green in Haringey. The event was organised by Education 2Day, a local training provider company and focused solely on increasing employment, training and education opportunities for young people.
The fair, which was a free event, took place at the local library on the High Road between 10.30 am and 4.30 pm. Aimed at those who have just received their exam results and are looking for advice on what steps to take next, the event provided advice on continuing at school, further education opportunities and finding a job.
The fair was attended by local employers and training organisations, offering advice and guidance on all types of employment and education opportunities.
