Harrods job interview is quite smooth. Before your interview you will have an assesment day with other candidates. Once you pass this stage of recruitment process you will be qualified for the next stage.

For sure you will have one of those interview questions!

How would you deal with a difficult customer? etc and if you pass this interview then you will have a medical check too and then you are fine!!

so here is the interview process for Harrods:
1 with human resources,
2 line manager
and final-medical check.

I must advise everybody to prepare some statements about yourself and your job experience. Actually it will be nice to practice with someone at home beforehand. They asked everyone to introduce yourself, your job experience IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. THAT WAS A BIG CHALLENGE. Than They gave us card with a picture on it and we had to make a presentation and sell the product to the auditory. So you really need to practice in that so you do not make fool of yourself in front of everyone.

What is your salary expactations?
What motivates you?
Tell me about yourself?
How do you handle stress and pressure?

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

So i have passed that test. the second stage was to meet that line manager face to face. He asked about the same things again and why I want to work for Harrods. Our conversation was about 5 minutes. Then they sent me off to wait. After they told me they were not sure in what department of food halls to place me and they will contact me in the next 7 days. So i don’t know if i was successful at that stage.
Anyway good luck to everyone and take it really seriously.

Hi everyone.Last month I applied to a Sales Associate role at Harrods,

- My application was successful, so I got through to the first stage which was a phone interview. I passed this stage.
– The second stage was a group interview at the Assessment Centre. I passed this stage too.
– The third stage was a face-to-face interview with a HR and the manager. I passed this stage too.
– The final stage was a 2-hour trial on the shop floor.

I did the trial 2 weeks ago, and I have very mixed feelings about how I think it went. The supervisor said they’ll contact me in the next couple of days, but no one has gotten back to me yet. I called them last Tuesday and they said they’ll get back to me before the weekend. No one did, so I called again last Friday and they said they’ll call me today. No one had called me.Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do now? Does this mean I didn’t pass the trial?

Most companies try and ask more difficult questions during their interviews, as it makes it much easier to then select suitable candidates for the job.

The best thing to do is research difficult questions that potential employers may ask you, and come up with some answers. Be careful not to make it sound too scripted when you actually answer the questions, but having some good ideas to impress them is always useful.
