I was thinking about paying someone to write CV but decided to write it myself because you know yourself better than anyone.
What do you think about professional CV writers?

I have never done it, and I’m not sure why anybody would really. As you say, you know yourself the best. The only thing I might do is to get somebody to edit or proofread what I had already written myself, and this could be especially useful if you weren’t writing in your first language for example. But other than that, I think that most people are able to cope with writing their own CV successfully.
