After 27 years of Retail Management (Sales and Operations) I am looking for a change. Suggestions on the best avenues to explore would be appreciated.

Don’t think about the job role; list the skills that the role has taught to you. For example, you’re obviously motivated and organised if you’re able to take a management role, and you deal well with people, which is vital in any job role. If you do a quick internet search for the job that you’re looking for, you should find a list of skills that you need. Think about situations in the current role you’re in that have shown that you’re able to use these skills, so that you’d be able to talk about it in your interview.
