if a company hiring and wants the candidates to send their cvs is alright to hand it to a person or sending via post more official and acceptable?

Actually, from what I’ve understood, it actually makes a better impression if you hand your resume in person.  It shows that you’re really interrested in the job and gives the powers that be a face to tie to your name.  Just be sure that you’re dressed in professional attire when you do so.

As the person said above, its a great idea for your potential employer to meet you in person before hand. It lets them get a better idea of you, and also makes you stand out from the rest as they have a name to a face, it makes them remember you.

In most circumstances, taking in a CV personally can be a very good idea. For the employer, they can meet you and get a hopefully good impression. For you, you can see the environment and staff who could become your colleagues. However, if the company is recruiting and they specify ‘online/email applications only’, don’t take your CV in – it can imply you are arrogant and don’t comply.
