    JJB Sports Application Form

    JJB have over 250 stores nationwide, across all major high streets and out of town superstores. They seek individuals who have retail experience in a high turnover customer environment, you will need to be able to deliver excellent customer service skills and be eager to learn and train.

    How to Apply

    Theres a few different ways you can apply to work in one of their stores; applying online either on their website or from a job search website or you can send a copy of your CV and a covering letter into a store near you, addressed to the store manager. A covering letter is a great idea, as it’s that little extra you can use to sell yourself to your potential employer. If you have seen one of their job adverts, it’s a good idea to add in some key words which you see from this, to your CV and covering letter.

    Interview

    The interview is a general retail interview with the store manager. Turning up a few minutes early is a great idea, it shows you have good time management skills and also enables you to gather your thoughts before your interview starts. Stay professional at all times and be polite, manors cost nothing! You will be asked a few general retail questions, like;

    “Why do you want to work at JJB?”,
    “What could you bring to the company?”,
    “Can you give me an example when you worked as a team?”.

    It is also a good idea to do some background research about the company, and prepare some questions about what you have found to ask towards the end of your interview.

    Salary

    As a JJB employee, you will have a competitive salary and also be able to take advantage of their 25% staff discount on all products.
