My job is : To deliver sales and profit growth in the fuels category by growing the premium grade Momentum99 petrol brand. This will be achieved through a long term strategy of :-

    1. Increasing customer penetration amongst current non-users, leading in to
    2. Increasing frequency of purchase amongst those new entrants, leading in to
    3. Increased loyalty through demonstration of the efficacy of the product and associated benefits.

To deliver this strategy I will need to be able to manage a mix of Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) activity through our approved creative agencies and sponsorship partners. This activity will be based on solid consumer insight gleaned from qualitative and quantitative sources such as Usage, Attitude and Intention consumer research, through to Target Group Index (TGI) and Clubcard data. 85% of the focus on communication will be around the value for money attributes of the product and 15% around the power benefits. I will be responsible for managing the marketing budget and ensuring the efficient use of funds.

I will also be responsible for developing an ongoing product testing programme that ensures consistent leadership in the performance fuels marketplace, enhances the credibility of the brand and enables substantial and defensible ‘value-for-money’ and ‘performance’ claims to be made for the product. I will develop a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to affirm the product credentials and to act as public ambassadors for the fuel.
