    Hi guys,

I am going to have an interview with Matalan in next week and i am pretty nervous about it. Has anyone had this before and want to share her/his experiences?

    Thank you

They basically explain all about the job roles and such as expected and usually have a warm up activity such as asking applicants to form small groups of two/three (depending on group size) and they ask for each to find out several facts about their life such as what they are studying and if they have pets etc. Then they have a main activity were they assess your behaviour and any skills you have. I did one were I had to pick a product and explain its benefits and why people would buy it, also another one were I had to try and create a speech to sell the product.

These kind of roles usually start out with the interviewer telling you abit more about the company, and the role in which you will fulfill if successful. They will ask if you have any experience working within a similar role. They will ask why you think your suitable for the position, and what can you bring to the company? At the end, they will more than likely ask if you have any questions, make sure you have something lined up, to show your interested in the role
