McDonalds set to make its mark on vacant site in ilkeston which will create part time and full time job vacancies for jobseekers.
Ilkeston is set to see over 100 jobs spring up on a vacant site, thanks to investment from McDonalds. They have acquired the site, opposite Tesco, and are planning to create a two storey Restaurant with Drive through.
The move has created quite a stir due to the number of unemployed in the area. McDonalds alone would create 60 to 70 posts. Other jobs will be created as there are extra units to be built with the complex. Plans are still being reviewed by Erewash Borough Council.
