Whitchurch Deputy Mayor Rob Hewson will open national clothing and homeware chain M&Co ‘s second store at 10am on Saturday, after the chain opened its first outlet on August the 2nd, just a few doors away.
The second store will sell menswear and homeware items and staff have spent the last two weeks refurbishing the 2,200sq ft store ready for the launch this weekend.
A company spokeswomen said “This refurbished store will now be exclusively stocking M&Co menswear and homeware” adding that the newly opened 4,300sq ft M&Co store a few doors a long at 16 Green End, will continue to retail womens and childrenswear.
Mr Hewson added “I’m very pleased that M&Co are sticking by the town.” The company has been in the town since 1995.
