New Tesco store in Gosport will create hundreds of job vacancies for jobseekers to apply. Tesco supermarket will create 200 jobs in the area.
The new store will open in spring, 2013. However the whole project will be completed by 2017.
The retail giant will work with jobcentre plus for the employments. Rowner people will have opportunity to apply for positions.
The new Tesco store will specially help those who are desparete to work in 18-24 year olds.

Hello, i am very interested in this job, i’ve previously worked in the co-operative food store and served and delt with customers on a regular basis. i’ve highly motivated and willing to do any work handed to me. i’ve been on job seekers allowance (JSA) for a long period of time and i really want to start work again and push myself to the limit.

Danial Martin.I live in Rowner and have been searching and I am still searching for a job, so if they are taking on 200 people, I will be more than happy to keep my fingers crossed and send my CV down there. I think it is good that they are going to be taking on 200 people but I do think that they need to give a lot of other people chances, like the ones without GCSEs, just because they might not have GCSEs, doesn’t mean they are incapable of doing the job. Employ people but be fair and considerate to whether or not they are qualified. A piece of paper means nothing, it’s what the individual is capable of that really counts.
Hello i am verry interested in getting a job in tescos, i currently live in Lee-on-the-solent so it would take me much to travel as i am a highly motivated indavidual.
I have already worked in a retail shop in portsmouth called New Fashion but has reacently left there because of how unfair they were towards me and other members of staff.
I am very punctual and out going indavidual that trives on being given a challenge.
And I would only be able to do part time as i am attending Military Mentors Training Academy in fareham.Iam constantly looking on the Tesco website, to see have there are vacancies for your new store that is opening in Rowner Gosport,but without much success. I am a fifty two year old lady, that is looking for a position in Retail. I have worked in retail, for many years, but thought that I would give caring in the community a go. But unfortunatley I am finding that the hours are not consistent, which makes it very difficult to make a living. I have very good customer skills because I have been hands on with the public. I have been a Supervisor on the shop floor for two well established companies. Which means I have exsperience in cash handling, rotas, stock control and merchandising. To obtain a position with Tescos would be a real challenge. I am very punctual and reliable.

waiting to see when jobs go up .wprked fpr asda for ouer 4 years .but having tesco in rowner is 5 minutes away .does anyway one know when the jobs open.tesco would be great to work full .i just wish i knew when the jobs was coming avaible .loads of shop work .working as a team

I am 17 yrs old and live in Alver Village ( Rowner ). I am attending Fareham College 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I am in my first year of a 2 year Childcare course. I wish to go on to be a privet nanny when my course is completed.
I would very much like to apply for any part time job that is available in the new Rowner store. I am happy to work evenings, weekends or on the days I don’t attend college.
I am open, honest, polite and well turned out, with a happy out look on life. I very much enjoy meeting new people so would have no problem talking to customers.
