New Tesco Store Created 140 Jobs in Sheringham

The retail giant Tesco has created 140 jobs via their new store in Sheringham. The company says that 1,300 people has already applied for the advertised vacancies.

The new Tesco store will open by the end of this month (October).

Building the new store nearly reached to the end.

Store manager Simon Nellis said:

“We’re really pleased with the response from our recruitment drive.

“We’ve taken on staff in all positions across the store, from team leaders to check out operators to deli counter staff.”

Most of the recruitments were done by the local Job Centre Plus and the Tesco job site online.

Since high volume applications, Tesco has already done 400 interviews in order to choose the right staff for the store.

Tesco store in Sheringham will be open from 7am-11pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
