Reporting into the business unit manager you will be tasked with development & delivery of the category performance within One Stop in line with the agreed marketing & category plan budget. You will have a sound knowledge of forecasting and budgeting utilizing your commercial skills to achieve results and will be tasked to develop the following areas:

• To Develop and implement the Commercial Plan for a defined product area within the Category Plan.
• Constructs and implements the Supplier and Range plans to meet customer needs and exceed sales and profit targets
• Delivers the Buy for less Plans.
• Implements the Trade plan.
• Manage the pricing plan for product range in line with corporate guidelines
• Deliver the customer plan projects within the category
• Deputies for the Business manager in their absence

Key competencies include:

• Experience in category management role
• Experience of managing a category with annual sales budget of £25M+
• Working within a team environment
• Extensive competence in impacting & influencing people with experience of negotiating skills
• Experience within a FMCG retailer (preferred)
•  Experience of implementing change
•  Degree qualified or experience developed within a similar role.
