    Proofreader Salary

    Proofreader job vacancies can be found on the job sites online. Proofreaders are responsible to check quality of written text before publishing or printing. Your job is to make sure eevrything fine and the text is ready to go.

    Most proofreaders are working from home as a freelancer.

    Employers are usually choosing proofreaders from graduates especially have experience in publishing, journalism and other related areas.

    Here are the Proofreader salary – hourly pay rates:

    Proofreading    £20.75
    Copy-editing    £24.25
    Substantial editing, rewriting, development editing    £27.95
    Project management    £30.10
    Indexing      £21.95
