Robin Hood Airport Enterprise Zone in Doncaster have announced that they will be creating thousands of skilled and higher paid employment opportunities for the local people of Doncaster and surrounding areas by creating an Enterprise Zone for the community.
The site where Robin Hood Airport Enterprise zone are based will accommodate 2,000 engineering and manufacturing opportunities and the plan is to acquire more land that it occupies and build upon the further investment.  This is fantastic news for Doncaster who has of late seen high unemployment rates and poor trade will bring a new lease of life to the town and to the local people bringing some positive news with it.

This investment and expansion will act as an incentive to other businesses to invest in the area driving the local economy higher which is an excellent outcome for the people of Doncaster meaning that more businesses may want to jump on the band wagon and come on board creating even further employment opportunities for the local area.

The local council are delighted with the news and have been meeting to discuss this investment and expansion and they believe that Enterprise zones are a good way of attracting new businesses to the area.  It allows the Doncaster area to offer a more competitive place to new businesses through further growth.

As part of the expansion, the £56 million Finningley and Rossington Regeneration Route Scheme which links Junction 3 of the M18 began in March this year and this new airport link road will support the plans at Robin Hood Airport and the new Enterprise zone.  All areas to support the new Enterprise zone have been carefully thought about and planned to ensure that the local areas and amenities are not affected by these changes which are meant to be positive for the future and future benefits of Doncaster.
