I had my interview last monday … it was really relaxed, don’t worry about it at all. Because you passed the online test it means you have a very high chance of them selecting you at the interview (I seemed to get this impression at my interview).

It was one to one. The manager was lovely and she asked me qestions like: why did you apply for the job? , What do you know about sainsbury’s? , why do you think you’re right for the job?
Then there was loads of admin stuff like.. can I see your right to work in the UK? any criminal convictions? clothing sizes etc ..

Then there was a multiple choice test. The first section was maths.. really easy. Things like you stacked 18 boxes and your manager says you stacked 12 too many, how many should you have stacked?

Then there’s a 2nd part which is like your personal values. e.g. If you saw a colleague drinking at work I would tell my manager: strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree

It’s common sense.. answer it how your employer would want you too not necessarily how you would if you were 100% honest.

Then she said thanks and shook my hand and stuff (took half an hour not the hour that they told me it would). I then got a text on thursday morning telling me I’d got the job and I have my induction tomorrow…
have you had sainsburys interview recenlty and tell us more about it? ..
