Sainsburys are to create 400 job vacancies in Newport with the store they are opening soon. The plan recommended for approval and it was revealed a couple of days ago.
The whole store area will be in 50,000 square metres in the Station Road.
If the plan given green light then the company will have to spend £2 million for the town expenses.
More then 500 objection letters already being sent to the Council about the new Sainsburys store in the town. Waitrose and Co-Op are also not happy about the plan to build a Sainsburys in Newport.
