Sainsbury’s has unveiled plans to construct a new store at Leominster which could create 200 new jobs.
The supermarket giant is holding public consultations on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Leominster Town Council Chamber to gauge public opinion about the new store which is proposed at Southern Avenue.
These new proposals come following strong local opposition for a new Sainsbury’s supermarket in Ledbury.
The developers for the scheme, Morbaine, have stated that if the public consultations do not bring forward any new information, a planning application could be submitted before Christmas 2012.
What do you think about Sainsburys new store in Leominster? Will you be applying for the jobs?
