Is it worth getting a Saturday job in a retail store to enhance my CV or is it not that important?
Having any job at all can add to your CV. Even if it is not relevant to the career that you want to pursue, it will still give you skills that you may need in your future job. It will also show that you are capable of holding down a job, which is important.
I think getting a job would be great not only for your CV, but also so that you have the confidence to know that you are capable of working well in a job. Any experience will look great on your CV, and you’re much more likely to get a job if you have been employed in the past.
