I am planning to apply for a job at Tesco. One of the question is the generic “Why do you want to work here?”. Answer is the obvious, I want it for the pay but do I need to use some cliché answers for this question?

Whatever you do, don't blurt out 'I want your MONEY!'…. but you could use some of the following points to answer their question. Try not to make them sound cliche, but rather make them sound honest.

    Examples:
    -Competitive rate of pay
    -Excellent company to work for
-Easy for me to commute to
-I enjoy customer-orientation in my work
    -Excellent employment benefits
    -Hours suit my lifestyle
